How long is the shelf life of a perfume when this is still unopened or unused?

On the average, the shelf life for a fragrance is 3 to 5 years; for pure perfumes it is much less. The same also goes for other perfume type from deodorant, after shave, eau de toilette, eau de parfum and etc.How long is the shelf life of a perfume when this is still unopened or unused?
unopened and protected from heat and light i would think it could last for years. 5 or more?How long is the shelf life of a perfume when this is still unopened or unused?
I have no idea,if it still smells good...use it!~
3-5 years on average if it has been kept unopened in a cool, dark place. Open, the frangrance will deteriorate within a year.


Concentrate will not last as long as Eau de toilette.
