okay so I know they spray something about 30-50 minutes but what is the name of the spray and is it for girls or guys?

First of all guys and girls socal does smell different. Also we spray a form of socal that is not for sale every 15-30 minutes on every item in the store 6 inches away, 2 squirts. The closest thing you can buy that will smell like the store is the guys version of socal. I am 30000000 percent sure I am correct since I have been working there for 9 months now.What perfume does hollister spray?
I have a friend who works at hollister, they actually dont spray any perfumes in the store to make it smell that way. They actually just spray the clothes with this a clothing spray that they isnt for sale. However, the closest smelling perfume to the clothing spray is their California perfume. It wont smell exactly alike, but its the closest one.
I think it is a combination of girls and guys perfume. I saw them spraying the perfume once and it was in a bottle specially marked ';For Clothes';. I am sure that you could ask any one of the workers and they would tell you if you really want to know.

I got this new Apple and Pear body wash that smells absolutely amazing. And it totally works for me. After years of trying different smells, I think I finally found mine.

I would find something else to give her. Perfume is a very personal and individual thing. What one woman loves can smell terrible to another. Unless you know what she prefers I'd stay away from perfume. How about some silver jewelry? Or flowers?

I want to help you but it's difficult for three reasons : I don't know your preferences, I don't know the perfumes you can buy in the US and my english is very bad (I'm French...).

So, I act as if I have to choose a perfume for a woman.

My selection :

- Deci Dela of Nina Ricci : it's fruity (67 euros for 100 ml).

- J'adore of Christian Dior : it's sophisticated (60 euros for 50 ml).

- Samsara of Guerlain : it's oriental (near 70 euros ?).

- Le premier parfum (eau de parfum) of Lolita Lempicka : if you like liquorice and lavender (38 euros for 30 ml, 64 euros for 50 ml and 71 euros for 100ml).

I would have her pick me up some Lavender oil. Especially if she's going to Provence...especially, like soon! The Lavender will be in bloom soon. Ahhhh.

How do you get rid of a perfume smell from inside a handbag and on the leather handles?

Well it might take awhile but here's an idea that i think will work. Go out and get a few of those activated carbon odor absorbers from Innofresh called FRIDGE IT odor absorbers. Just put a couple of them inside bag and then a couple with bag in a closed container. I've used these odor absorbers for smoke and musty smell in old hope chest and also cheap imitation purse that smelled.

Got rid of odors really well. Can buy these at www.innofresh.comHow do you get rid of a perfume smell from inside a handbag and on the leather handles?

Question about perfumes?

I don't wear perfume very well. It either doesn't last very long or begins to sell musty after a while.

Is it possible to buy more natural smelling products? For instance I absolutely adore the smell of cucumber or coconut or freshly cut grass (I've had some coconut oil spray from body shop and that was quite nice).

Try going to a natural food store and looking at what they might have available there.

Besides, if you really want to smell fresh and clean, then nothing beats a daily bath or shower and doing without artificial assistance.

Bath and Body works has a very nice fragrance that comes in a body butter that lasts a looooong time. There is also a body spray, hand lotion, and other products. The fragrance is Coconut Lime Verbena. Smells so good you want to eat your own hand. There is also a cucumber spray that is very fresh but I love the CLV.

There is also a very limey lotion by Asquith and Somerset called ';Margarita'; that is nice.
i had the same prob.... i use coconut deodorant, and than coconut perfume... it stays much longer. i find it great.

It might not be that scents don't last long... it might just be that you can't smell them any-more when they're on you. After a while of smelling the same smell all day long, you stop smelling it.

For natural scents, try an Aveda salon. They supposedly use all natural ingredients to make their scents, and you can get your choice of scents, and they'll mix stuff up for you.
Try body spray from bath and body works. You can get tiny ones to keep in your purse and then you can try lots of different kinds.

im guessing that most perfumes just dont mix with your chemistry well. try going to some stores with lots of perfume (ULTA is a good one if you have that where you live) and try stuff, find ones that you like, and then spary them on your wrists, and wait a bit to see how it smells.

and if you just cant find anything, maybe look for a lotion or spray the perfume in your hair instead or something
I find some deodorants are fresh and long lasting, like Nivea Pearl or the Palmolive Anti-perspirants. Also, what about using concentrated softeners for your clothes cuch as the yellow or pink comfort? Just add a bit more than usual in your wash cycle and you wont need to wear perfume, your clothes will do it for you! It does work, honest!

Try going to a a Whole Foods or Wild Oats or other natural foods store. They usually sell bottles of essential oils. I like to mix essentials in with my body lotions (sandalwood is my favorite.) I have used this awesome coconut lotion from the store too, I think it was called Kamala Black Coconut.

I take it you freshen up regularly. I have a vaseline skin moisturiser that smells like cucumber, put on when get out of shower. I have a cheap shampoo and conditioner thats supposed to be jojoba but smells like raspberry. Both these products leave me smelling fruity all day long.
Comptoir Sud Pacifique makes several really gorgeous coconutty perfumes, like Coco Extreme. Yves Rocher makes one called Noix de Coco. Bath %26amp; Body Works has two coconut fragrances, Creamy Coconut and Exotic Coconut. And Demeter makes a perfume called Kahala Pina Colada.

Demeter also makes Cucumber and Grass perfumes, and there are several generic body oils with cucumber and grass fragrances. You might also try New Mown Hay if you like grass scents.

You can find most scents available in essential oils in various places. Oils can turn after some time, though, which is why people usually use perfumes instead. I like a lot of simpler, more natural scents myself, and at times I've even used room/linen sprays because they were fresher and simpler than a perfume! I've also used plain real Vanilla extract, and that kind be kind of nice and smoky-sweet. If you do use oils, realize that some of them have mixtures of fragrances just like perfume, so they won't be as simple. Those will have more vague or abstract names like ';April Rain'; or ';Morning Dew.'; I'd stick to the clear-cut ones if I were you because you seem to want the really basic scents.

You can try the perfumes, but maybe for you the oils would mix better with your body chemistry. But do be aware that any scent will be less noticeable to you after you've worn it for a bit.

Don't spray it on your wrists and then rub your wrists together. It crushes all the perfume 'molecules' and the smell won't last as long.

Don't spray it on your clothes, it could stain or alter the colour of the fabric.

I like to put mine around my neck sort of behind the ears, not in as direct sunlight as the neck and chest, but still around the same area. You can still spray it on wrists, just don't rub them together!

Also, to prolong the life of your perfume store out of sunlight in a cool, dry place.

Though, many have found that it stays longer in warmer parts of your body. For example, behind the knees, on the crease of your arm by your elbow, and behind your ears.

Spray two or three time in the air in front of you and then walk through it. To me, there is nothing worse than getting close to a guy and smelling powerful cologne. No matter how good it smells, if it's too strong I will get a headache and I won't talk to you.

Depends on the perfume, there are some which smell is so intense that they get you dizzy or give you a headache. I'd usually get one squirt in each arm, 2 in the neck, a couple on my clothes too and sometimes even one on my hair.... but that's me, cause the perfume doesn't stay on me too long, I lose it really quickly. Other people keep it all day long. So I suppose it varies from person to person.

Why can't you get fabreeze??
Open the windows and air it out. Wash the windows with windex. Do not use perfumes, some people like myself are allergic to many of these scents. Buy some automotive fabric cleaner and wash the seats and the carpets. If you clean as much as you can that will help the most.
seriously without proper cleaning stuff (like febreeze) it can't be done in one day - not even in a week.

Don't give up though. If its decent weather leave all the car doors open to allow fresh air to try and take the smell away.
Definitely leave the windows down all night, if you can. Ive heard coffee with get rid of cigarette smell. I say buy a new can or fresh bag (or a few if its really strong) of coffee and leave it open in the car all night and tomorrow.

Oh yeah, definitley wipe the windows. Cigs leave a film on the windows!
febreeze sprayed on the seats and clean the windows. Quite a bit of the smell comes from the tar on the windows.

Edit: If you can't get something like Febreeze then you are in trouble.

Okay, you can't get this at a drug store, but you can get it at the mall (or closest Victoria's Secret Pink outlet)...

For $20 you can get two (or $15 for one) 8.4 oz bottles of Pink With A Splash 'all over body mist.' It comes in 3 scents- I own Soft and Pure, and Fresh and Clean, these are the green cap and blue cap bottles. The other bottle (something rather sweet, I think) has a pink cap.

These aren't technically perfume, BUT...

-Unlike a lot of body sprays, these have perfume scents

-You can spray yourself all over your body, and get the nice scent, but unlike perfume, you can't over spray, making yourself reek of perfume

-They're big bottles, so even if you spray yourself 20 times in the morning, they'll still last forever.

I suggest you try these, I have them and I LOVE them just as much as my perfumes.\

bath and body works has really good perfumes for $10. they smell really nice and have a wide variety of flavors. my personal favorite is japanese cherry blossom. also if you would like to wait, during christmas season they have really good 5 for $25 sale.

This is a really 21st century question. We all have our own ideas of personal hygiene. I work in a nursing home and we have to keep our residents smelling good, looking good, etc but I find nothing offensive about sweat etc. Some of my mates (male and female) are so busy, so hard-working, so intelligent, also so preoccupied with the mind, that they don't bother that much about washing, bathing, etc every day. Doesn't bother me. I know it will sound very non-PC but perhaps we do sanitise everything and everybody in this era. And I think about the millions that are spent every year just on smelling OK. That money could go to much better causes.
I like my man to smell of just that - man. I hate aftershave and all that sweet smelling stuff on a man. It's not natural.

It was marketed for drug stores and they have a pretty high turnover rate as far as what they carry. You may have to buy it online now. Lots of wholesale fragrance sellers are on Ebay and the prices are cheaper that way, too.

try Heiress by Paris Hilton. For me it's really really cheap and it's oil based (you could just spray twice and the smell will stays to you longer) and the smell is really gentle and really smells good (it's not like other perfumes that are for women above 30+ it's really for teenagers and little girls). try it.
I like one called 'zestini' from the body shop. It had a light citrus floral scent, and it cost just over 10$. And a vanilla body spray is always a classic., if you want. Or, how about lovespell from Victoria Secret??

well, i was never a fan of Avon scents, but its under 20 dollars, its called sweet honesty, but you have to know someone who sells avon. Also, jovan white musk is really nice and soft and body fantasies has a body spray called white musk fantasy, its really soft and fresh smelling. it costs around 8 dollars. There arent that many perfumes under 20 that smell all that great, in my opinion. The cheapest i have seen a nice perfume for was 30 dollars, and the bottle was small. If you go to an outlet, they usually have some nice ones for 25 to 30 dollars. I think Target sells one called Lucky You, which smells really nice, and i think its only 20 dollars, i have also seen it in a body spray less than 20, in Target, Walmart, and CVS. Just ask someone who works there.

spary your clothes in your drawers and closets put it on a piece of paper like in the store take some and spary some of the perfume on it and then stick them in and spary the clothes or wear a lotion from the same perfume if they sell it also you might not smell because you are use to it :) so change up your perfume once a month

you don't spray it on your clothes for one thing. most perfumes are alcohol-based, and the alcohol evaporates quickly. you squirt some on your pulse points: your wrists, inside your your elbows, behind your ears and behind your knees if you're wearing a dress or skirt. i do that and my perfume lasts all day long!
what kind of brand are you using? if it is a cheaper brand, it tends to fade quick. i have a couple of expensive brands that i wash my clothes and still smell it, ex. juicy couture and coach. and def if you have the matching lotion, it totally helps to not fade as quickly :)
Your body gets used to the odor, that's why people with B.O. don't know it. An old stripper technique is to mix their perfume with baby lotion and apply it. Just keep in mind that most people absouletely hate when someone has overdone the perfume.
try putting on cream under the perfume if u have the matching cream try that(ex.love spell by VS)

also if u have matching stuff to the perfume try putting on the soap.body splash.body wash.cream.perfume...
Maybe try spraying your scent again half-way through the day so that it's refeshed and back to its full potential, if thats not too much of a hassle for you during the school day.

Yes! It's my all time favorite perfume since I was 16. It takes your natural body chemistry and creates a sensual, strong scent when mixed with the perfume. Buy it cheap by checking out my blog. Ralph Lauren HOT is my favorite perfume I use. It has kind of a spice smell. Also, DKNY Be Delicious is a fruity scent. It's great too. If you couldn't find something on ebay that's cheap, victoria's secret perfumes always smell great, and their cheap too. I preferably like love spell, it's in a purple bottle at Victoria Secret, and guys seem to like that one a lot.
i never could find a perfume that i liked, but i finally found one that smells delicious!!! i swear its the best perfume i have ever smelled! everyone always gives me compliments, from little kids to teens to grown men and women. its great!! its called Moon Sparkle by Escada i think you will love it. it doesn't smell to perfumey or too old lady or anything like that. its not too strong either, but you can notice it. it last all day. you should try it!!

I have a glass perfume cabinet. So I can display them and keep them safe. I keep it away from sunlight and humidity as possible. Underneath I have a few shelf, where I put all my hand and body lotions.

If that doesn't work, put them in a cute little box or something, and store it in your bedroom! :D

Directions

Perfume is simple to make, the trick is to put the essential oils together creating a smell you like. Perfume is made up of base notes (the smell stays the longest on your skin), middle notes (smell stays second longest), and top notes (smell of oil evaporates first). Because the oils all evaporate at different rates the perfume may smell different as time goes on. Below are listed easily found essential divided into base, middle and top notes.

鈥?Base notes-cedar wood cinnamon patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla

鈥?Middle notes-clove, geranium, lemongrass, bottle nutmeg, neroli, ylang-ylang

鈥?Top notes-bergamot, lavender lemon lime neroli

鈥?Bridge-vanilla, lavender (add a few drops to join base, middle and top notes together)

To make your perfume, mix at least 25 drops total of essential oils divided evenly between base, middle and top notes. Start with the base notes, then middle, then top, smelling as you go. Add a few drops of the bridge oil. Add 2 1/2 ounces of alcohol (get a parent to help you with this), shake for a few minutes, then let it sit for 48 hours (or up to 6 weeks-the longer it sits, the stronger the smell). Add 2 tablespoons spring water, stir, then pour through a coffee filter and put it in a bottle.How do i make a perfume few ingredients?
This past year in chemistry class, the book we used had an activity for making perfume from whole cloves and rubbing alcohol. It didn't smell too good to me, but maybe others might like it.

As I recall, you basically put 7-14 cloves in a small jar, add some rubbing alcohol, and keep the jar closed for a week. Remove the cloves when you're done. You could try leaving it sit longer with the cloves in, also, before removing them.

yeah of course you can get it anywhere! i loveee it but got a little sick of it so i bought the new ';midnight fantasy'; but they still sell both, so i wear both, alternating depending on my mood :) the midnight is a bit more fruity and less sickly sweet while the regular is just plain...fantasy sweet!

As much as I would like not to admit it, her perfume smells pretty good iand so does J-lo's glow. I am not sure if it is discontinued or not, you could try finding it online or going to the mall to see for yourself though.

Curve is a cheaper option though. It smells great.
Most name brand fragrances start at $30 plus ...... if that is out of your budget, try a scented body lotion......you still get a lovely smell (not overwhelming like most young ladies are want to do) and body lotions are typically less expensive than a fragrance.

Bath and Body works lotions are still fairly inexpensive. I've noticed that Suave and other store brands are making nice smelling lotions as well. Usually in the $7 range!

Well I don't know of anything exactly like it, however Red Leaves by Paullina Simons is quite good.

It's a murder/mystery story, very gripping.

Actually I would also recommend her book Eleven Hours too. Another gripping, mystery novel.

I read both of these books the day I got them (not the same day, I mean I read each in a day) because I really struggled to put them down!

If you are using BODY SPRAY you may be able to ';layer'; your scents.. For example if you are using a matching body wash/lotion/spray the 3 combined will help it last longer...

If you are using a PERFUME- you can apply a few drops of mineral oil to your wrists rub in and then apply the perfume so it ';sticks'; to the oil... .Also, just because you can't smell it doesn't mean others can't so use caution if you are reapplying.. Also, spray a bit or rub your wrists into your hair for added benefit....

Reapplying it, or spraying it in your hair. Here's a tip, many times when you vuy perfume, they will give you samples of it. At first one would think its stupid to have mini containers of exactly what you bought so instead use them as your perfectly purase sized bottle for reapplication. :D.
First thing you can do it spray it on clean skin

Then your pressure/ heat spots like behind your ears, collarbone, wrist so that the body will heat up the perfume and it will kind of radiate of your skin.

If you spray it on your wrists don't rub them together because you will ';crush'; the notes and it will dull the different smells. Each perfume has a few different notes which will change over the hours your wear it.

I have found that perfume oils last longer because they are more concentrated.

Perfumes also come with different names like au de toilette and stuff. these mean how strong they are. Remember that just because you cant smell the perfume anymore, doesn't mean other people can't!

My mum wears white diamonds and we can smell it every time she walks past, but if she wears it every night for a couple of days it gets stronger because she stops smelling it and sprays more. It's really strong and she can't even smell it.

You could also try layering the sprays, putting it in your hair by spraying it on your hair while upside down so it gets over the whole thing.

a good perfume will last a long time and will not rub off easily so the more expensive the longer it stays, but it doesnt mean it smells better,

and alot of the time a cheap perfume is just a copy of something that is more expensive.
